And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink.

And she answered: Drink, my lord. And quickly she let down the pitcher upon her arm, and gave him drink.

and she saith, 'Drink, my lord;' and she hasteth, and letteth down her pitcher upon her hand, and giveth him drink.

And she said, Take a drink, my lord: and quickly letting down her vessel onto her hand, she gave him a drink.

And she said: 'Drink, my lord'; and she hastened, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink.

And she responded, "Drink, my lord." And she quickly brought down the pitcher on her arm, and she gave him a drink.

Et dixit, Bibe, domine mi: et festinavit, et demisit hydriam suam super manum suam, et potum dedit ei.

And she said, drink, my lord,.... Signifying at once that he was welcome to drink what he would, giving him a very honourable title, observing that he had a pretty large retinue with him of men and camels; so that she took him for some considerable personage:
and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand; from off her shoulder, and let it rest upon her hand or arm:
and gave him drink; let him drink what he would of it.
